Financial planning is the cornerstone of a well planned financial future.

Financial Planning

Financial Planning can mean different things to different people.  A financial plan can be focused on one major area of your overall financial picture or it can be a very comprehensive plan that encompasses all of your financial information and creates a roadmap to achieve your long-term financial and personal goals.  Financial planning is important for individuals and it's important for businesses.  No one will know when they arrive at a destination if they have no idea where they are going.

Planning Options

All of the financial decisions that an individual, family or enterprise makes represent a part of their financial plan.  Most people don't realize that they themselves actually perform unique parts of financial planning when they work on their family budget or pay the monthly bills.  When a family reviews their finances in anticipation of college expenses for their children they are working on their financial plan.  Most people have their financial plan broken up into sections or chapters but they haven't gone through the formal process of consolidating all of the components into one master plan.  That's where we come in.

Why Should You Plan?

Why should you have a financial plan in place? The answer is amazingly simple: inflation.  Without properly planning for inflation you have no idea what buying power your future dollars will provide.  Imagine if you had a billion U.S. dollars in your pocket and you went to a foreign country where that would only buy you a cup of coffee?  How would you react?  Imagine thinking you have a certain level of financial resources only to find that the stealth power of inflation has eroded its buying power right under your nose.  The most important reason to plan is to anticipate the effect of inflations and work around it.
